STARTING THE RENOVATION

At last, three years after we purchased our dream property, in April, 2007, the scaffolding went up and the crane arrived. Our crane can be seen from many kilometres away in the Nestore Valley.

All of the villagers in Piegaro are so pleased with our renovation
project. As they often say, “molto contento!” They are happy to have this ancient abandoned glassworks become the beautifully restored L’Antica Vetreria. Their dreams for the village and our dreams are a perfect match.
